CAMBRIDGE AWARD CEREMONY 2020

The Cambridge Award Ceremony took place in our Assembly Hall on 20th January.

The candidates who took their level tests in June 2019 received their so longed for Certificates.

Unfortunately a lot of students could attend the ceremony because they are currently studying university studies in different cities.  But anyway, they can come anytime to our Head Office to collect their certificates.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OF THEM!!!!

THEATRE PLAY "ESCAPE ROOM"

On 17th December, 233 students of ESO and Baccalaureate attended a theatre play in our Assembly Hall.

Irene and Alfred are determined to play an "Escape Room" based on the '20s that is organized in their high school:  the participants have only fifty minutes to escape from the hotel room where they are kidnapped by a dangerous group of gangsters, led by the famous Al Capone, who is willing to kill them.  They must pay attention to all the details that surround them and exercise their ingenuity and logical thinking to find the codes and the keys that lead to the exit.  They must solve all the puzzles and enigmas to find the key that opens the door to be free again.  But they are not alone:  they count on the invaluable participation of our students that will keep them achieve their goal.

In a play where it is demonstrated that friendship, union and team spirit are the values needed to solve any problem, our students, as usual in these type of activities, participated activily helping to solve the enigmas.

IRISH EXCHANGE - PART II

We had been looking forward to seeing the Irish students and teachers for nearly seven months. At last, it was Friday, 4th October when our Irish friends arrived in Teruel.  We were so excited about meeting again...

We all had lunch at Tapas & Copas...

It was such a good start!!  But plenty of activities were waiting for us...

On Sunday, we spent the day at Dinopolis.

On Monday, we travelled to Valencia.  We visited the Oceanografic and the city centre.

It's a pity we didn't go to Albarracin with the Irish students and teachers on Tuesday.  They  spent an enjoyable time with the zip-lining activity.

Unfortunately, on Wednesday, 9th October, their staying came to an end.  But in the morning, before they left, we had a snack together, we performed some music for them (we'll upload the videos soon) and we played a datchball match.

Time flied!! One could say it was just a dream!  It was an awesome experience:  this Irish Exchange has been highly rewarding for students and teachers.  That's the reason why we have already started preparing the second exchange with Meánscoil Gharman.

Art Room

KILKENNY

On 26th March, we visited the city of Kilkenny (in Irish, Cill Chainnigh, meaning "church of Cainnech").  Before our visit, we had the opportunity to do some outdoor activities: giant darts and splatball, which we really enjoyed.
